England v. Wales
If no one else will...

Hart, Rose, Cahill, Smalling, Walker, Sterling, Rooney, Dier, Lallana, Alli, Kane

No changes from last match I believe. You don't change a losing side as they say.

One mistake he does keep making, is pulling wide. I can't blame him to a degree as he's trying to get involved but then when we do get into advanced positions he's out of position.

JohnSON, I would play them both mate.

Re: England v. Wales
Yeah I would start Sturridge and Vardy as well

I wouldn't feel too sorry for Kane
At least now that he is on the bench he can rest up for the Paralympics Football at the Olympics in August

Re: England v. Wales
Bolty, but Kane plays up front alone in a 451.

The difference being he plays in a team that presses high and plays on the counter....not a team that sits in the middle of the park cautiously passing then spraying balls out to the full backs as their only form of attack.

Sturridge will start on the left of a 3 with Vardy and Lollana.
rest will stay as was.

"
I do feel a bit sorry for Kane to a degree, he isn't a lone striker"

apart from when he plays that role every week for Spurs you mean??

Re: England v. Wales
I reckon he'll go for

Hart
Walker Cahill Smalling Rose
Dier
Rooney Alli
Lallana
Vardy Sturridge

Much better for the 23 man squad for players like Rashford, Kane, Wilshere, Barkley to come on in that setup now Rooney's been shifted even deeper.

Free's up space in attack where we are going to win the games.

You'd start Sturridge AND Vardy?

Not for me. Slovakia are no mugs and will have an eye on winning the group.

Re: England v. Wales
LOVED his free-kick yesterday............ casual skip up to the ball and leathers it miles over the bar.

get back on corners Harry son.

Re: England v. Wales
The whole team looked a lot more balanced with Sturridge and Vardy up top.

I do feel a bit sorry for Kane to a degree, he isn't a lone striker.

If Hodgson doesn't start the team we had out in the 2nd half, I'll personally shoot the owl faced cunt with an air rifle.

Re: England v. Wales
I feel sorry for Kane too. I know he plays up top alone but he had absolutely fuck all going his way in a 451 for 3 halves of football

I don't see how anyone can blame him.

Re: England v. Wales
I'd start Sturridge instead of Kane and one of Milner, Henderson, Wilshere instead of Sterling on Monday - probably Wilshere as I think he'll be more useful later in the tournament.

Push Rooney further forward a bit an' all.

Shouldn't have wholesale changes as we need to build momentum.

Re: England v. Wales
Alli did well second half and was more dangerous on the ball taking on players and assisting the winner than Rooney was.

Easy to pick him out though when you got the reputation of Rooney to ignore.

Agreed, Mike.

Looked much better with the mobility of Vardy ad Sturridge.

Takashi Miike 1:27 Fri Jun 17

I thought Alli was much better once Harry Mong went off

19 y/o Alli, not versatile enough for International Football,

May as well bin him now.

Re: England v. Wales
We should go all out to win the group so we can all get on the piss at 5pm on Saturday instead of Monday night!

kylay 1:21 Fri Jun 17

Which would make Kane and alli not versatile enough for international play

Re: England v. Wales
As said by many how Sterling is even in the squad let alone in the team is beyond me.
